Although the actors ages range from 24 to 28, they each play high school characters on the FOX hit. That has some people tagging the GQ photos as racy.
Agron, who plays Quinn Fabray on Glee, hit her blog to explain why she did the cover shoot for GQ.
“In perpetuating the type of images that evoke these kind of emotions, I am sorry,” the 24-year-old actress wrote. “If you are hurt or these photos make you uncomfortable, it was never our intention.”
The November issue of GQ features a cover shot by famed celebrity photographer Terry Richardson with a scantily-clad Michele and Agron hugging Monteith next to the line “Glee Gone Wild!” Other images inside, also shot by Richardson, include Michele posing in white panties and a bra, while Argon appears in a cheerleading get-up with her skirt barely covering her backside.
