Daily Show Obama : President Barack Obama, interviewed today on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," cited Rep. Tom Perriello, D-5th as one of the Democrats he hopes will be rewarded on election day for taking tough votes in Congress.Perriello, who voted for the president's health-care bill and cap and trade legislation, is in a tight race against Republican state Sen. Robert Hurt.
The president will campaign Friday with Perriello in Charlottesville.
Obama said if lawmakers like Perriello are applauded for taking tough votes, "then Democrats will be rewarded on election night."
