Well-placed military sources informed TheNation on Friday that militants belonging to banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) launched an attack on Talab Check Post in Sararogha district, a remote mountainous area in the northeast of Wana, South Waziristan Agency.
Pakistan Army launched a military operation last year, destroyed TTP headquarters and its training camps, and restored Government’s writ in the region.
