Rally to Restore Sanity Attendance: Jon Stewart Rally vs Glen Beck - Tens of thousands of people, attended the “March to restore sanity” organized by Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert that was held earlier today.According to reports over 150000, Americans, mostly young white liberals made it to the capital to take part in the Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear in order to send a message to the Republicans.
The rally comes two months after Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor rally which had an attendance of 87,000 people according CBS.
Held only three days before the mid term elections, the event was being promoted as a way for organizers to “correct” what they called the extremism and dishonesty that have infected the American political system.
