I'm confused.Singapore have decided not to try and join the AFC Champions League and cited, among other reasons, their need for foreign teams to make up the league. They also don't have promotion and relegation which I understand are AFC requirements.
But New Zealand team Wellington Phoenix can quite happily enter the A League. Aren't they a foreign team? And the A League don't have any promotion or relegation as far as I'm aware.
So why is it ok for Australia and not Singapore?
Is this a white man thing?!
