Hubble Telescope: New York Times: Astronomers believe they’ve found a galaxy from 13.1 billion years ago. The oldest and most distant object seen so far, UDFy-38135539 appears as a small smudge of light in a Hubble Space Telescope photograph. Matthew Lehnert of the Paris Observatory, lead author of the study published in the journal Nature, and fellow European astronomers calculated the age after 16 hours of observations from a telescope in Chile. "We're looking at the universe when it was a 20th of its current age," said Caltech astronomy professor Richard Ellis. The finding is important because it fits with theories about when the first stars and galaxies were born.

21 Pounds in 21 Days

21 Pounds in 21 Days: Steve Harvey Morning Show announcements included Harvey deciding to take on the "21 Pounds in 21 Days" detox diet program. According to NYDailyNews.com, participants in this diet are said to not eat or chew food for a total of 21 days to achieve weight loss.
Harvey's widely-announced detox program, also known as Martha's Vineyard, will be tracking his progress on the diet's website. The program promises results within a matter of days.
The Family Feud host, 53, wants to shed a few pounds, and for those who want to see if the program actually works, you can monitor Harvey's progress on the official "Lose 21 Pounds in 21 Days" website.
While Harvey was enthusiastic about the endeavor on the Steve Harvey Morning Show, others advise against the program.
