During today’s Colts-Eagles broadcast, the CBS crew dug up some footage of an enormous Andy Reid participating in a punt, pass, and kick competition from a Monday Night Football game in 1971. Apparently he was 13, but it may or may not be a Danny Almonte situation. The announcers proceeded to more or less make fun of how huge Andy Reid was (a trend that continues to this day). This is clearly and important accomplishment in his life, as it has just been added to the 2nd paragraph of Reid’s Wikipedia page. Here’s a video and screenshot that I pulled.
