East Tennessee natives and siblings The Band Perry brought a little piece of home with them to the CMA Awards Wednesday night – their grandma, Betty Lou.“She looks gorgeous,” said Reid Perry. “She’s all dressed up in black and silver.”
The group recently released their debut self-titled CD and said they were still “pinching themselves” that they had finally made it.
“This is 12 years of sweat equity,” said Kimberly Perry. “It’s 12 years of putting one foot in front of the other. It’s just humbling. We fully intend to be seat warmers tonight.”
