AU YEUNG WAI-LAN (Yuen Qiu), owner of a martial arts training school, is reunited with her long-lost son KOO YU-CHEUNG (Kevin Cheng) after years of agonizing separation.  However, CHEUNG has no interest in kung fu until he runs into an impudent and arrogant WING MAN-KWAN (Jacky Heung), son of the KOOs’ bitter foe, WING TAK (Lam Ka Wah). A fight breaks out and CHEUNG has shown glimpses of his potential.  Pinning all her hopes on CHEUNG instead of the younger brother KOO YU-TONG (Ma Kwok Ming) who has been critically ill, LAN teaches CHEUNG a special set of kung-fu skills created by the family.
While everyone is looking upon the Guangdong Boxing Championship Tournament, CHEUNG has been caught up in the love triangle between LAN’s apprentice YING NGAN-MING (Natalie Tong) and his dream girl CHOW BING-BING (Nancy Wu). CHEUNG is utterly exhausted, which later causes his failure in the final…
