Lucia Perillo has won the 2010 Rebekah Johnson Bobbitt National Prize for Poetry from the Library of Congress, for her fifth book, Inseminating the Elephant (Copper Canyon Press, 2009).In celebration of the prize, Perillo will give a free reading on December 13 at the Library of Congress' James Madison Building in Washington, DC.
