Lil Wayne punched Drake? Well, sort of, but they were playing “Punch Buggy.” Once again, we learn the importance of taking Web rumors with a grain of salt.This weekend, reports surfaced that Lil Wayne had hit fellow rapper Drake in the face on Saturday during the final stop of the Light Dreams and Nightmare Tour in Las Vegas. Today Drake cleared things up.
“You got the story wrong…Lil Wayne punched me in my arm cause he saw a VW beetle pass by,” Drake tweeted.
Drake belongs to Lil Wayne’s Young Money record label. Lil Wayne was just released from prison after serving an eight-month sentence.
“Haaa…YM Forever,” Drake added, laughing off the rumors.
According to MTV News, Drake’s rep also denied any violence.
“There were no disruptions,” his rep said in a statement. “The concert and after party went off without a hitch.
