She died when she was sixty years old, she was a very talented actress and she jumped into the acting world in the 1960s. The world recognized her acting abilities. Many people actually did not know much about the illness of Jill, but many people actually came to know about it when her daughter Lily Rabe missed her performance at the current Broadway production. In merchant of Venice Lily Rabe co stars with the other two actors Portia and Al Pacino, she missed the performance due to the illness of Jill Clayburgh that is why Lily Rabe stayed with her mother and did not go to perform.
According to details the death of the mother of Lily Rabe was caused by disease named the chronic lymphocytic leukemia, Clayburgh was suffering from this disease since the past two decade or more.
She fought with the disease with a disease with great courage and she also continued to live her live together with the treatment and whatever she could to stay alive and happy. She died this Friday morning in the early hours; while she died she was surrounded by her family member that also included Lily Rabe. Clayburgh was born on the 30 of the April in 1944 in the city of New York. She had only on child together with her husband David Rabe; she died in her house in Lakeville, Connecticut.
