Wiz Khalifa was arrested following his show at East Carolina University on Monday night. The rapper was brought in on charges of drug possession, which is perhaps unsurprising, considering the fact that Wiz Khalifa was quoted in an interview as saying, “It’s not abnormal for me to spend at least $10,000 a month on weed easily.”Wiz Khalifa’s arrest was reportedly the result of a raid on his tour bus when it was parked in Greenville, North Carolina, the site of East Carolina University. The university was ranked the number five party school in the nation earlier this year.
Although Wiz Khalifa has enjoyed notoriety lately for his single “Black and Yellow,” the rapper has been around for quite a while
