Dancing With the Stars week 8 results - who was eliminated? -

Week eight elimination on Dancing With the Stars has been announced and one more celebrity got the boot on the popular dance competition.

Dancing for the last time were Kurt Warner and pro dancer Anna Trebunskaya. The pair were left standing at the end of the show with Brandy and Maks Chmerkovskyi, so it was almost inevitable that Kurt, having a much lower score, was going to be the one to go.

Again, this result shows the importance of the viewers votes! While high scores generally keep the dancers in the safe zone, sometimes a low scorer can be saved if they have huge amounts of votes.

So, Bristol Palin, who was at the bottom of the leaderboard, was saved once more and will go on to the finals. The teen mom actually did quite well with her Argentine tango being more in character than she previously had been.

But, with the Instant Dance she had a few missteps, although the bigger one was an admitted mistake by her pro dance partner Mark Ballas.

Kurt, who was scoring at the lower end of the board along with Bristol, was steadily improving, although he could not get anything higher than an 8. In the end, Kurt couldn't add up enough votes, so he was the one to go home.

Performers on the DWTS results show included John Legend and the Roots, who sang two of his hits while the DWTS pro dancers belted out their moves on the floor.

On his departure from the competition, Kurt said he had lots of fun on the show and he will miss dancing every week. He was very graceful as he said his last goodbyes, thanking his family and friends for their support and Anna for having shown him how to dance.
